Calcium Ascorbate is the sodium salt of ascorbic acid and is a common mineral salt. Being a mineral ascorbate, it is buffered and, therefore, less acidic than ascorbic acid making it gentler on the stomach compared to Ascorbic acid. Usually, Calcium Ascorbate is recommended for people who have gastrointestinal problems associated with Ascorbic Acid. Calcium Ascorbate is considered mild and more abdomen friendly.

Suggested Use
Adult – Mix 1g (1/3 tsp) once to 3 times a day in water or juice. At the onset of cold symptoms, the dose may be increased to 2g – 5g a day.
Children 4 – 12 years – Only as professionally prescribed. Not to be used by children under 4 years of age.
