Sodium Ascorbate is the sodium salt of ascorbic acid and is a common mineral salt. Being a mineral ascorbate, it is buffered and, therefore, less acidic than ascorbic acid making it more gentle on the stomach compared to Ascorbic acid. Usually, sodium ascorbate is recommended for people who have gastrointestinal problems associated with ascorbic acid. Sodium ascorbate is considered mild and more abdomen friendly.

Suggested Use
Adults – Take 1g – 3g a day with water or juice with a meal.  At the onset of cold symptoms, the dose may be increased to 2g – 5g a day.
Children 4 – 12 years – Only as professionally prescribed.  Not to be used by children under 4 years of age.
